Cape Coral - Saltwater Fishing Report

TWC Fishing Report: Sherman's Reef 12 to 13 miles out. Over the dumped highway rubble, in between the major reef markings, thousands of Lane Snapper have arrived. Shrimp or small white bait dropped to the bottom in 55'. The instant the 5 oz egg sinker hits the bottom, by the time you get the slack out of the line,( 16" leader 2/0 hook under weight) they will hit it every time. The size limit is 8" and you can have an aggregate of up to 100 pounds per boat. Most are 10" to 12".
It's an absolute blast if you like to catch allot of hard hitting fighting fish and they are Very Good Table Fare.
