Carrabelle - Saltwater Fishing Report

Isidore, what kind of name is that? Why don’t they name them with common appellations like Rachel, Jan, Glenda or Susan? I guess with so many named storms, one simply starts running out of names.
Isadore was a shameless hussy. Now that she is gone, misspelling her name can’t enrage her further. Just my small way of getting even with the mischievous girl. I guess we should be thankful that she was only spewing her fury at about 60 knots. It could have been much worse, especially for Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.
Even the commercial grouper boats have been tied to the wharf. Topknots got a good wash and wax on her trailer. My good friend Rodney, the first class marine mechanic, even had an opportunity to perform a health check up on Natasha during the storm. Natasha, you see, is my new girl, a beautiful 200 HPDI Yamaha. Don’t ya just hate those stupid names people use.
Stay tuned until next week and actual fishing reports will return to this space, unless Lili finds her way into the Northeastern Gulf of Mexico. Would’nt that be a bitch!
Until next tide, tight lines and solid hookups,
