Hot and Rainy Weather and Catching Fish

Capt. Bert Barkus

Chokoloskee - Saltwater Fishing Report

This past week has been pretty good.
Having fished Alex,Paul,Bob,K.C.& Salem they all did well with Reds,Trout,Big Drums,a few Mackeral, and a great Triple Tail fishing.
On the tarpon side, get out early, then in the evening, to take advantage.
During the day, their hard to find if you don't know where to look, they will be laid up in deep, deep pockets.
I was out 1 morning and caught a few small snook and 1 in the 12 pound range.
Pam Drakes Nice Gulfside Snook.
