Chokoloskee - Saltwater Fishing Report

With the recent change in weather the fishing has improved somewhat.
You need to get out early befor the thunder storms start in the afternoon.
With the tides this past week it has been hard to find the big laid up tarpon due to the clouds by mid-morning and water temp.change.
Were fishing the roling smaller fish, then start snook fishing as soon as the wind picks up and the tarpon go down.
I would say we are doing well out back with the smaller snook, but havn't brought a fish over 30" to the boat this past week. We've had a few on,but my guys havn't brought them to the boat.
The 1st Tropical wave will be here soon, so no telling how the fishing will be this up coming week.
I have 7 days left for this months fishing and will report on what took place.
If your fishing out back wear long sleeved shirts, long pants,a Buff and fingerless gloves to keep the Deer flys off,and with this rain coming, possibly be ready for "You KNow What"!
Always keep the wind at your face, and don't let your O2 blow into the mangroves. If don't take this advice, better bring a dozen cans of Yard Guard with you.
So get out there and GET IT DONE!
