Grouper, Amberjack, Cobia - Wreck fishing on Fire!

Capt. Brandon Fraley
May 20, 2008
Clearwater - Saltwater Fishing Report

Last week we had several full day trips out to 50 miles offshore, with great fishing on every trip. The grouper bite continues to be excellant, all Gag's, most ranging from 14-25lbs. Live bait has been the key for us lately, the bigger baits are producing the best bites. Our anglers have been quickly limiting out on Amberjack in the 25-40lb range, fishing live Blue runners over wrecks in 90-110 feet of water. Cobia have showed up in a big way for us lately, most trips are catching between 25-35lb fish with some huge ones mixed in. We're catching these fish over wrecks with live Threadfin, although any live bait will work. For more info or to book a trip visit www.fisheyefishing.com- Thanks for reading-Capt. Brandon
