Clearwater - Saltwater Fishing Report

The Tarpon have shown up in the passes from St. Petersburg to Tarpon Springs. These fish arejust showing up. The best time to target these brawlers is on moveing water in the passes. For the backwater enthusiast, there are poons in quit areas on the edges of the deeper flats. These areas are prime during midmorning due to excessive boat traffic Tarpon have been ranging from 80 to 100 Lbs.

Now is the time to book your trip for the thrill that only the King can bring.

Redfishing has been strong on the flats. These bulldogs are feeding on whitebait and hard plastic jerk baits. The average fish are ranging from 26 to 34 inches.

Snook are just stating to come back. flats and yhe inside of the passes are producing a few fish. Posted on 06 May 2010 by Captain Craig
