Crystal River Redfishing

Capt. Nicholas Warrington
September 21, 2020
Crystal River - Saltwater Fishing Report

The redfish bite the past few weeks throughout our region has been very good. Majority of these fish have been in the 18-27" slot but we're starting to see some of those 30-35" fatties. Pinfish, shrimp, cut ladyfish, or soft plastics it hasn't really mattered. Just find mullet around structure and moving water. Temps have been teetering around 81-83F most days.

Crystal River Fishing Forecast:

There's already ton's of bait out on the flats and we've seen some decent schools of Spanish Macks/jacks working them. As temps begin to cool our grass flats will have more and more action. Spotted sea trout have already begun their move into shallow water.
