Estero Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

Well its been awhile since I've given a report, but that's because I've been fishing like crazy! I'ts been an fun few weeks as Tarpon, snook, redfish, trout, permit, and pompano just to name a few have all been caught. Tarpon are in full swing and on the nice days we've been able to get into a few nice ones. The back bays are starting to see juvenile tarpon showing up in the usual places as well. Snook are going full speed these days, both on the beaches and in the docks around most areas with good water flow. Redfishing is finally to the point where catching more than one every day is now doable. The trout bite slowed down a bit earlier in the month as we dealt with some red-tide. To me trout seem to always be the first thing to disappear when this happens. However, the trout are now back especially in Pine-island and the Matlachee area. Tight lines Capt.
