Estero Bay Report

Capt. Jon Fetter
November 3, 2017
Estero Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

As the water temps cool off the fish are starting their fall feeding patterns which means plenty of options for anglers. The redfish are hanging around the oyster bars and mangrove islands near the passes. Shrimp on circle hooks or on jig heads will work best. Chum the are with pieces of shrimp to increase the smell and bring them to you. There are also plenty of snapper and sheepshead around any structure. Anglers should down-size their hooks and leader to increase the bite. Spotted seatrout are starting to make their way to the grass flats in 3-5 feet of water. Shrimp under popping corks will work best. The key to them is finding clean water so look near the passes.
