2 months of awesome fishing

Capt. Greg Stamper
April 30, 2017
Estero Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

I'ts been a few good weeks, and everything that we want to go after is certainly available. Southwest Florida has so many options this time of the year as the water temperatures push past the 77 degree mark and the bait fish begin to find their way to the beaches. Inshore I've been targeting snook, redfish, trout, pompano, and sharks. Usually the option is based on the anglers experience level and angling skills. There's been good fishing most of the days and should you want to play the species game you've got a chance at getting close to 12 or so. Nearshore has been good when its been calm enough to go out and play. Targeting tarpon, snook, cobia, and permit take up most of the time for trips that go into the gulf waters and nearshore haunts. the next two months will be great so get out there and wet a line. You cant catch a fish without a line in the water! tight lines Capt Greg
