Tarpon, snook, jacks

Capt. Greg Stamper
September 6, 2018
Estero Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

Well things are getting better in the back bays as there's been lots of baby tarpon in the creeks and rivers. Snook some up to 30 inches have been mixed in along seawalls and docks and can be targeted with artificial as well as live bait. Most of the snook have been between 16"-25" so using the appropriate size baits is a smart way to go. Jacks are still top billing when we've been way in the back and can be caught up to 7 pounds so far. The good news is baits finally showing back up so the predators should be coming back to the open water haunts soon. Tight lines Capt Greg Stamper
