Awesome Everglades Fishing!

Capt. Jason Sullivan
August 2, 2015
Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

I have to say it has been a great week of fishing. I have been out on the water almost everyday this week and have been spending a lot of time in the backcountry of the Everglades. There is a ton of bait and a lot of great action. This week we had some awesome baby tarpon fishing, shorelines where you would hear snook popping baits almost every couple of seconds, and a school of 15-20lb Jacks that looked like Tuna's busting bait! This time of year, on any given day, you just don't know what you are going to get into! I think that best part is we had the whole place to ourselves. This should be the pattern for the next couple of months. Late summer and early fall fishing at it's best!!
