Bait runs are epic!

Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

I am down at Flamingo today with good friends and great customers Bob and Charlie, we started out by casting at some rolling Tarpon. These fish weren't looking at our lures but were crashing the occasional mullet so we moved on. we found some diving birds that's were holding Jacks and Ladyfish so we caught a handful and moved on to catch the falling tide. The first spot wasn't holding anything but fifty feet away we caught a few Snook, there was a lot going on around us which kept our attention. It's funny how fast the action can stop! We moved on catching a few Trout, Jacks and Lady's and then ran the traps looking for Tripletails, they're weren't any today. We got up on the beach's where the bait is just as thick as I have ever seen it. Mullet Pilchards and Herring are getting blasted by Tarpon, Jacks and Sharks, really fun to watch. We had a giant Tarpon blow up a school 30 feet from the boat, got our attention. The only issue we had today was the wind picked up to 20 mph plus in the afternoon and it seemed to shut fishing down. It was a long day so with plenty of laughs and some drag pulling which is what these guys like.

There is a lot going on bait wise and plenty of fish chasing them if you would like to give it a try give me a call at 305 333 8149.
