Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fishing this past week has been very good. Whether it's been throwing flies at docklights or up on the flats, it has been very consistent.
This past week I had Peter on the boat and he wanted to try his luck fishing the docklights. We had multiple hook-ups on snook and tarpon throwing both fly gear and spin. It was a lot of fun watching fish follow the fly and then eat it or turn away. Plenty of action with just about every docklight holding fish! Peter had so much fun; he decided that he wanted to cast at tailing redfish up on the flats.

Later on during the week I had Wayne and Mark on the boat from England. They wanted to fish the everglades via the fly rod. We had a great morning with baby tarpon and snook. As the day went on the wind picked up, so we decided to break out the spinning gear and look for some reds. Great angling guys!
