Everglades Fishing Report

Capt. Jason Sullivan
March 14, 2016
Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

had a last minute cancellation today, so I have a chance to catch up on some fishing reports. So far our early tarpon season has been pretty solid, when the conditions allow. Tarpon fishing, especially on fly, the conditions have to be right or it can definitely be challenging. The past few weeks we have jumped a lot of big fish on both fly and plugs. We have landed one of the biggest fish on the skiff, estimated to be around 120-130lbs in the past week.

The snook fishing continues to be good when the water levels are down. With all the rain we have had this winter, the levels have been on the high side. Fishing low tides are definitely a must.
