Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

The fishing in the Everglades has also been really good, but the weather always has a lot to do with what we are doing for the day. We were shaping for some great tarpon fishing until a late season cold front blew through and shut everything down. That is not typical for this time of year but every year is different.

Since that cold snap, we have spend our time fishing for redfish, snook and baby tarpon. It has all been really good lately, when the big tarpon have not around. We have some warm weather predicted for the next few weeks, so it looks like the tarpon will move in. This is definitely my favorite time of the year!
Most of my April is booked up but I do have a few days open late in the month. May is starting to fill up, so give me a call or email to get out on the water!
All the best,
Capt. Jason Sullivan
