Everglades Fishing Report

Capt. Jason Sullivan
January 10, 2018
Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

Hope everyone is off to a great 2018. We just had a major cold front where water temperatures dipped into the mid 50s, which definitely slowed down the snook fishing. It is now back up to the high 60s and fishing has gotten better each day since. That will be the pattern for the next few months. On the days in between the fronts the big tarpon will show up if water warms up to the mid 70s.

The sightfishing for redfish and snook is great this time of year because they warm themselves on the mud flats in the backcountry. If the conditions are right it can be some great fishing.

Tarpon season is right around the corner and I still have a some days in March and April open to chase these monsters!

Give me a call or email to get out on the water!

All the best!
