Everglades Fishing Report

Capt. Jason Sullivan
February 7, 2020
Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

I hope everyone is off to a great 2020. This fishing in the Everglades has been very good from the flats to deep in the backcountry. It has been great seeing some tailing redfish on the flats outfront of Flamingo. I haven't seen that since the seagrass die off we had in 2015.

The baby tarpon and snook fishing has also been very good on the cooler days when there hasn't been any bigger tarpon to throw at. This is the time of year when it warms up, the big tarpon flood the backcountry and can be some epic fishing. I am definitely looking forward to some of that action!

I don't have many days open this spring but the summer can be just as good as the spring for big tarpon. Give me a call or email to spend a day in the Everglades!
