Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

This past weekend we FINALLY had a break from the relentless 20-30mph winds. The entire weekend we were greeted with some slicked out conditions. Needless to say the redfish were out in full force, tailing and in schools of 100-150 fish. I absolutely love going from tailing redfish to tailing redfish all day long. It is alot of fun on fly and light tackle.

The snook fishing was also on fire this weekend with alot of fish swimming around and blowing up topwater plugs. I can't think of a better way to fish for snook other than a topwater plug.

The tarpon fishing is still pretty good and will remain strong throughout the summer and into the fall. The laid up tarpon fishing in Florida Bay is pretty good right now with lots of shots.
Give me a call to get out on the water!
Tight lines,
