Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

It's been a good start to the year fishing in the Everglades. The warmer days between cold fronts have had us fishing for big tarpon. These are some of the biggest fish we see throughout the year. That will continue until about April when the cold fronts stop blowing through here and the weather becomes more consistent.

There has been plenty of snook and baby tarpon around the backcountry as well. That has been very good as of late. The nice surprise has been the fishing on the flats out front. Plenty of targets to throw at, which has been alot of fun!

I have a few days open in May and July. The summer fishing down here is some of my favorite of the year! Plenty of tarpon around and usually we have the place to ourselves!
Give me a call or email to get out on the water!
All the best,
Capt. Jason Sullivan
