I am fishing with Scott and his son Tim down at Flamingo, we started out slow today but it got really good late. The Redfish didn't cooperate in the backcountry today but the Gag Groupers did. We hooked 7 between 6 and 11 lbs. These are great fight and big runners when hooked its a blast!

I am with Jeff Armstrong today, every year Jeff brings his family fishing this year we had 5 boats. We started out in Government Cut where the fishing wasn't really on fire but we managed some Snappers Groupers and Jacks. We ran back inside the bay and got into rod bending. We caught Jacks, Mackeral, Bluesfish and Trout the rest of the afternoon.

I am with a representitive of Yamaha outboard company today and we are fishing N. Biscayne Bay. Mark Saruta brought his family down to Miami for vaction,
Mayuko wife Nanami daughter, 12 yrs old, Kodai son, 7 yrs old. The day was very cold and winds around 25 mph. Early on I was nervous there was nothing going on, a call to a friend led me to believe I was in trouble. I netted some pilchards and wet chumming around some of my spots in the bay and it worked out. We turned on some big Jacks, Mackeral, Bluefish and Trout. When we finally got into some action Kodai show off his 7 yr. old skills it was fun to watch. He was exausted on the ride in and fell asleep. I was nervous early on but actualy had alot of fun at the end.

I am with Karl, Jim and John and I decided to go Back country again even though the bite in front of Flamingo is outstanding. It didn't take long and Jim had 3 Redfish in the boat and was really giving it to Karl. We continued catching Redfish, Trout, Jacks and ladyfish. While sitting there catching fish on every cast the mullet schools were getting blown up in front of us. We moved over to the area and Karl hooked up and then Jim hooked up! We kanded Karls fish which was a 9 lb Jack. We dont really find them that big back there usually. Jim line is screaming now then Karl's and Jonh made it a triple. We did this for a half hour then the were gone! Jacks between 9 and 12 lbs are fun on light tackle. We moved and and caught another nice keeper Redfish and then we Grouper fishing. Jim was first with a 24 inch Gag we had a couple missed fish. We had a couple double ups and a couple more misses. They asked to look for the Jacks again,we did but they were gone we called it a day.
