Flamingo Fishing Report

Capt. Jason Sullivan
May 4, 2016
Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

It has been a very busy month with some great tarpon fishing. This season there has been a lot of tarpon in the Everglades, more than any other year that I have seen. We have definitely taken advantage of it. We have mostly been throwing flies at them but also mixed in some plugs. If we get the right shot and get in front of there face, they almost always eat it. That's why I love tarpon fishing in the Everglades!

The snook fishing is starting to heat up, like it always does around this time of year. The next few months is some of the best snook fishing of the year. Anywhere from the coast to the flats, with the right tide, it can be great.

I have some openings in the middle of May and in June. Give me a call to get out on the water! This is a great time of the year in the Everglades for tarpon, snook, and redfish.

All the best,

Capt. Jason Sullivan
