Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

A little breezy in the morning and very foggy.
We threw out a chum bag and about 10 to 15 minutes later we had a slew to Skip Jacks in the chum slick!
Well that was actually a great sign. We boated 11 to 12 Mackerel on chartreuse clouser minnows, stripped as fast as possible. And we caught some nice macs until the sun came out and the wind died.
After that we cruised the park boundary markers and traps outside and found plenty of Triple tail.
We had 15 to 20 shots and boated 8 on fly.
The fly was a tan and gold Kwan shrimp.
There were some tarpon around but not a lot.

Flamingo Fishing Forecast:

The next 3 or 4 days will be difficult with the winds at 20. But there is some great bass fishing in the canals when the wind is blowing. Next week should get back to normal.
