Flamingo, got the goods!

Capt. Joe Costadura
June 27, 2009
Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

I've been finding myself fishing the park alot lately, even more than usual! Lots of action would be the reason, I have been finding fish everywhere I stop. Mangrove shorelines loaded with snook slammin topwater plugs or white jerk baits. Baby tarpon rolling on the flats giving us fly anglers lots of action, pouncing on the gurgler as soon as it hits the water! Also big schools of reds cruising, laid up, tailing, just about in every scenario you can imagine, from the bights to the outer islands, it's on! I've had some chances to get out with some fishing buddies of mine to do some fun fishing, and fun it's been. At the end of the day it just leaving us asking one question, when are we coming back? I'll be getting out there quite a bit and the weeks to come, I'll try to keep the reports rolling between the fishing! Till then catch em up........................Capt. Joe!
