Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

Greetings. The Everglades backcountry has been on absolute FIRE! Over the past couple trips my clients have caught and landed 10 or more upper slot Redfish with a few caught over slot… Snook have also been around, with 6+ Slot fish caught with one over slot brought to the boat as well! Although the wind has been blowing, we've successfully found protected areas with moving water, structure and bait! Once I've found those three elements, we've found fish! On a recent trip Jill and Chris caught 3 redfish one of which was 12 lbs- 28 inches! This fish was caught on a state of the art IRT reels on light actions rods, 40 lb leader and gulp shrimp. I found the critical elements in the creeks feeding the gulf North of Ponce de Leon bay. If you're willing to make the run, the fish will be there waiting for you!
April is filling but I do have some days open, contact us today..
