Redfish, Snook, Tail & Rolling Tarpon...

Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

Hello Cyberangler community, today I had the pleasure of guiding Pat and Robert from Broward and Palm beach counties, FL "up front" of Flamingo. We started the day looking for Redfish… We made a quick adjustment to Speckled Trout and came across a school that yielded 10+, each in the upper slot just North of catfish key, with our ONE allowed over slot within the first 15 mins. We closed the 1/2 day charter looking for Snook and Tarpon based on the prior day's intel but came up short. We fished swim baits and GULP artificial shrimp all day. It was cool to see my clients catch back to back Specks all on artificial..

Yesterday's charter started slow but closed in an epic fashion… We began our day in Whitewater bay and fished the dropping tide all day. Whitewater produced some Specks, a Snook (on a fly) and two Tarpon. We made our way out of Ponce and destroyed the Snook. We brought 4 to the boat and jumped Tarpon x 20+, Trout x 1, we closed the charter with 4 or more Triple tail spotted in the gulf- none of which would hit our presentations… The Snook and Tarpon seem to be holding off of Ponce de Leon as well as the Triple tails..

I want to make a special "shout out" to the IRT reels family, their product is SECOND TO NONE. Book with us and try the IRT difference, see my happy clients landing trophy Speckled trout on them this week…

Book with us today! The summer bite is HOT
