Flamingo - Everglades National Park

Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

Flamingo Fishing Report

Flamingo Fishing Report

Fishing at Flamingo has been reserved to the warmer deeper rivers, canals, and holes. Still a very good choice of destination because there has been action even on the chilliest, windiest days. Robert Volpe and brother- in-law Bill from Connecticut joined me to grab keeper snook, pompano, and tried sight casting to several Goliaths.

During the cold front John Sadowsky arriving from Omaha, Nebraska fished with me to collect jacks, ladyfish, drum, and see the Everglades in transition.

For those of you that have not seen me the last week or so I have had terrible engine problems and should be on the water ASAP. Fortunately there are a few other good guides out there that have been able to fill in for me on the days that you folks have had to go.

I expect to be back in action by mid-week and will have, hopefully, some consecutive days back on the water.

Capt. Ariel Cabrera
