Flamingo - Everglades National Park

Capt. Ariel Cabrera

Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

Whitewater Bay Fishing is Hot!!!!!!!!

Fishing out of the park has been good with continued results in deeper water like East Cape and the Shark Rivers. Some folks I have talked to have reported some mackerel further offshore. Oyster Bay has also been producing solid trout action, ladyfish, jack, and some redfish.

I sold my outboard and have a new Yamaha on the back of the boat. Eric’s Outboards of south Dade is one of my newest sponsors. I am thankful to have them on board.

The deeper parts of Whitewater Bay have had fair fishing but expected to improve. The tarpon could be in any day now.

Snook season is now open and we are fishing for them. Call ahead to book your trip.

Whatever your choice is, the fish are biting especially on the backcountry Everglades region. Call and book a trip NO FISH_NO PAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
