Flamingo - Everglades National Park

Capt. Ariel Cabrera
November 27, 2006
Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fall Bite at Flamingo

Flamingo fishing will continue to improve however; this is the time to plan around fronts and wind speed and direction.

Client Luke Kellogg opted for a Biscayne trip instead of Flamingo and he got a bonanza of fish. Him and two sons landed 150 fish, only he added. This includes mackeral, mutton, and mangos, triggerfish, three snook landed. His son battled a giant snook estimated at over 15 pounds on a lure. He said he'll be back.

Get ready for bait and big fish at Flamingo. It's time for bucktails and plugs. I have also recently added Fishbites synthetics to my arsenal for those murky water days. Great time of year to fish.

I have added some custom chairs to my ghenoe and skiff for comfort. They are great. No motor zone fishing is here. Call for current conditions on the trails
