Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

Greetings.

The spring season is here, and the bite is fantastic! Although we are not catching the record number of Redfish (as we were two weeks ago), we are now finding bigger fish ! On a recent trip, my client Tony slung flies all day and hooked and landed over slot Snook and trophy triple tail! The Snook was caught on sinking line, paired with a dark pattern (black) fly that became an offer the Snook couldn't pass up! The triple tail was presented with a white and red pattern, it couldn't say no to! We tied our leader with 40lb floru and tied loop knots to keep our flies looking more lively! All in all, the fishing right now is epic and we are excited to find the kings when they roll in!
