Spring Break fishing report1

Capt. Jim Hobales
March 30, 2023
Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

The fishing has been ok. I have had a bunch of half day trips. I don't do a lot of running around, I try to spend most of the time fishing. Flamingo is known for a good fishery right outside the marina so that's where I have been fishing. The Snook, Trout, Jacks, Ladyfish and Sharks have cooperated on most trips. The water temperatures have been in the 70's lately so we should start seeing a lot more Tarpon.

Most of my trips have been family oriented with 3-4 people which puts a lot of fish in the boat.

The Trout have been plenty of keepers between the new limit of 15-18'"with 1 over 19" per boat.

There have been some slow periods, but We can usually make it work. This past Saturday it was tough on but when we found them it was nonstop action.

There's bait around which mean the better fish are somewhere!

The next few weeks should be really good, it that time of year where everything is here.

IM fishing Everglades national Park, Biscayne Bay, and Key Largo so if you would like to fish any of those destinations give me a call at 305 333 8149. Caught Lookin Charters Is family friendly charter company.

Let's go Catch'em.
