Starting To Feel Like South Florida

Capt. Steven Tejera
March 31, 2010
Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

It's actually warming up! For a few weeks there I was not sure if I was living in Miami. It sure feels like South Florida again as the temps are rising and its getting hot. The redfish and trout have been pushing up on the flats and potholes ambushing bait and taking advantage of the warming weather. Tarpon should start moving through little by little as well on the ocean side and in florida bay. The bonefish and permit will be feeling happy as well with this warming weather. Therefore, I am really looking forward to what this spring/summer has to offer.

Check out this preview video! Thanks to Capt. Clay Eavonson and Capt. Greg DeVault
