Excellent Dolphin and Wahoo Fishing in Fort Lauderdale This Week

Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

We just came in from a great half day fishing charter. Dolphin and wahoo were thick today and biting in awesome numbers. We caught all the fish trolling in 100-500ft of water, just 1-3 miles offshore. They were not all in one school of fish as dolphin generally are. They were scattered all over the place and biting randomly throughout the trip. Best bite was on the deep planer baits for the wahoo and tunas and on the surface for dolphin. Ballyhoo and strip baits were what we pulled around mostly. We didn't even have time or desire to try any wreck fishing today since the bite was so good on the troll. This is a great time to fish Fort Lauderdale. Lots of fish biting. Good luck to everyone fishing this week. I'll sea ya on the water.
