Lou Sauter, George Sauter, Stacey Sauter, and John Mckenna from Ohio chartered the Topshotfishing team to do some deep sea big game sport fishing in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.at Bahia Mar Yachting Center, 801 Seabreeze Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316, while watching the plasma TV.

Fifteen/twenty minutes after leaving the dock, lines were in 120 ft. of water by the sea buoy in Fort Lauderdale, 1.8 miles from shore. Lou did not want to troll so we went right into kite fishing. We set out two kites with two live Goggle Eyes from each kite in 150 ft. of water where a color change was forming, a good avenue for fish to travel down in. While waiting for their catch, Lou and his family were enjoying the beautiful Fort Lauderdale weather and eating donuts from his shop.

Left short!!!! Sailfish!!!!! As he chased the bait until finally the Sailfish ate the bait. Hooked up!!! The Sailfish came out of the water and showed his magnificent power while he greyhound away from the boat. Dave, our mate, was clearing the rest of the baits as another Sailfish was tailing down sea. We had no time to pitch bait to this Sailfish. We were in full reverse as we were backing down on the Sailfish with little line left on the reel. John was our angler and after a forty minute battle, Dave wired the Sailfish for picture taking and was released to fight again.

It was time to head back to the dock. The anglers retired into the a/c salon and enjoyed the relaxing trip back to the dock at Bahia Mar located at Bahia Mar Yachting Center, 801 Seabreeze Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316, while watching the plasma TV.
