Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

Lady Pamela 2 Fishing Charters

Come Fish Fort Lauderdale or Miami Fishing

Today the Lady Pamela had a good friend of mine Robert and two friends from Finland come fishing here in south Florida well they are looking at buying a boat and shipping it home. The guys from Finland never have fished in the Atlantic ocean before so it was a nice tread for them. On the way out the inlet we stopped and caught a few live Speedos at the whistle buoy and then started trolling. Well trolling fishing five lines we have two planner lines as well the planner lines get down 60 to 80- feet depending on the size planner you use. It didn't take very long before we had two nice kingfish in the boat one about 25 and the other around 30. Then we try pulling some live Speedo around the ship wrecks we caught five kingfish pulling live baits around the smallest king mackerels we caught was 12 lbs not a bad trip at the end of the trip we tried dropping on the wrecks for groupers and amberjacks but no hits.

Our second boat this Moring the Lady Pamela IV had a stellar trip on the morning troll they caught five big king mackerls a 25 lbs Mahi Mahi, a 10 Wahoo , and a 50 amberjack on a ship wreck.

The Lady Pamela III had the All-Day dolphin trip today witch goes out every Thursdays for 90.00 per person and it holds up to 15 people a assume trip. Today on the eight hour trip they caught a 15 lbs Wahoo, 8 schooley dolphin lost a 35 lber next to the boat seven king mackerels and a nice amberjack.

The Lady Pamela IV this afternoon headed out a 1:00 pm for the Big fish all the guy wanted was a huge fish well he came at the right time of year we had some fresh bait form our morning trip so we headed out to the tall water witch mean the deep water in 350 feet of water. We put the Kites up in the air with four bait on the kites and two big baits down one around 150 feet down and the other one on the bottom it wasn't two hours before we had a 300 lb swordfish swimming in the spread but he didn't eat. Then 30 min later a big hammer head shark swims up there tries to eat the bait two times a swims off. The 20 min after that a another hammer head shark a few feet smaller tried to eat a few times an swims off then we saw the swordfish jumping in front of the boat so pauly guns the boat gets in front of the sword and Leo pitches out a live bonito and never came back a good day for seeing big fish.
