Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report
Hello everyone Capt. Vinnie here I hope everyone is doing well, we have a good report this week with some great pictures! I want to talk about this week like the title says women and fishing, we love our female anglers that we get, specially a husband and wife because no matter what the wife always catches the biggest fish of the trip!! Just like I encourage you to bring your children aboard with us bring your wife or girlfriends its always a great time aboard the YB Normal. This week the fishing has been excellent I mean excellent and im not just saying that to get you to book with us we have photos to prove it! Anyways this week has been somewhat choppy and rainy but the fish don't seem to mind there has been a great bite while trolling, The kingfish have been biting very well and some large ones as well, also plenty of bonito as well as blackfin tuna, we have primarily been trolling for all these species with small squid skirt lures on the surface and planers and seawitch bonito strip combos under the surface. Not to much bottom fishing this week for us because the current has been very very strong and that can make is difficult to pin point a spot. Plenty of big sharks around for those that want to tangle with a sea monster as well. We have some great photos this week of some recent charters, husbands and wives that had some great catches of kingfish and tuna, and also a girls trip of some great female anglers that could definitely hold there own fishing, I hope this report encourages any women that were skeptical about fishing to get out there and do it, we would love to have you!!
I don't haven report this week on night fishing we have not been in a while but as soon as we go again you guys will be the first to know.
We appreciate everyone that has been out fishing with us during the pandemic and the boat remains clean and sanitized after every trip, this week is somewhat busy but we do have availably so if your in the Fort Lauderdale area and looking to go deep sea fishing please check us out we would love to get you out there!!
