We get calls all the time for kid friendly fishing trips. It's not that we have a specific trip and time for this. The fact is ALL our trips are kid friendly.
Whether you are on the drift boat, very hands on, or a sport fishing boat, lots of oohs and ahhh's. Our crews are dedicated to helping the kids have the best time they can.
Kids are generally easier to please. It doesn't matter what kind of fish, the size or if you can eat it or not. They just want to land it, get close and inspect it. That IS one of our toughest tasks, keeping them away from the fish, especially those with teeth, until it settles down.
Speaking of size, this is where kids are really easy to please. Even the smallest baitfish, as long as it bends the rod, makes for a banner day. When the baitfish are chewing and the action is nonstop, this is delightful for most our young anglers.
The picture above is of the drift fishing boat coming in yesterday to the dock. 2 young anglers are on the left and while both were delighted with their catch, 1 was extremely excited. He told everyone at the dock, even those who had been on the boat with him he had caught a Puffer Fish! Not an especially great catch by most but the biggest fish he had ever caught, and therefore, special.
Sorry mom, if your kids are touchy, feely, they will get it on their clothes. But it does wash out… LOL
So if you're looking for kid friendly fishing trips, you needn't worry about when we have them. They will all work for you and the kids.
