Lately on the YB Normal out of Fort Lauderdale florida we have been doing quite alot of night time snapper fishing, as we approach the summer months the snapper fishing out of fort lauderdale gets very good the snappers begin to spawn as the sun goes down and they are hungry. On these trips we leave at 7pm and return at 12am, we anchor up on the many reefs along the coat of fort lauderdale florida we tend to anchor anywhere from 40-120 feet of water. We start by chumming the area with frozen block chum and cuttin up small pieces of fish to begin a feed frendzy, snapper are structure fish and they can be quite smart specially the bigger ones, all the snapper we catch are very good eatting but mst of them have a minimum size requirement of 12 inches and you are allowed to take 10 snapper in your legal limit for the day.
