Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Saltwater Fishing Report

Capt. Andy Roydhouse
November 17, 2003
Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

Winter is trying to show its face. During the last few weeks we have had our share of wind and rain. This is normal for this time of year, although a little late. These patterns help to push the fish south, back to our waters after roaming north during the warmer summer months. The action lately has been a bit undependable. A few days when you get shots at Sailfish and random attacks from Dolphin. The Kingfish are a little more consistent and some Spanish Mackerel are taking baits closer to shore.

This action will continue to grow as we get deeper into the winter. You can expect the bite to increase as each front passes through, and we are getting another one tommorrow!

Sea Ya,

Captain Ron Mallet
