Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report
We are into the winter pattern. A few days of breeze from the north, the temps hit the 50's at night and the ocean temp is starting to come down too. This is what we need to push the fish south and into our waters. This past week has shown some promise but still no huge numbers of fish here. We did get a showing of Shark, Sailfish, Dolphin and Kingfish this week. A bite here and there but not the non-stop action we all dream of. It will come though. We just need to get a few more cold fronts to bring bigger numbers of fish into the area. Don't get me wrong, most are very happy to catch a Sail, Shark, King and Dolphin in a 4 hour outing. I know that any day can produce sore arms and enough wild action to keep you from eating the luch you brought aboard. It can mean lots of work for me but that's what I'm here for. Maybe your lucky day is coming.
