Fort Lauderdale, FL - Offshore

Capt. David Ide
November 14, 2000
Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

Sailfish, Wahoo and Kingfish

The sailfish continue to bite. We had one triple header this week and a few doubles. Other boats reported going 3 for 5 and 2 for 4 Sunday.

Wahoo are also being caught daily with some fish over 40 lbs. We have been catching an occasional Dolphin while live baiting for the sailfish. The biggest one this week was 30 lbs and a few more were 15 to 20 lbs.

Decent size Kingfish have been biting live tinkers and bonitas on the reef.

We had a couple of Mutton Snappers while fishing the wrecks and a 20 lb Black Grouper Friday.

Catch-em-up,

Capt. Kunta
