Fort Lauderdale, FL - Offshore

Capt. David Ide

Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

Summer time Fishing!

The bonitas and kingfish are still biting on the reef. Trolling spoons and strips are the best bet.

We did manage to catch a few Wahoo last week. Many other reports of wahoo were heard on the radio. We hope to see even a better wahoo bite on the next moon.

We have been seeing a few sails this week out in 300 to 400' of water. The few we caught were on live bait.

Dolphin have been hit & miss. We have been catching a few peanut dolphin and we did have a couple of 10 to 15 lb fish one day.

Barracudas and amberjacks on the wrecks with a few blacktips and spinner sharks mixed in.

There still have been reports of a few swordfish being caught a night offshore. We welcome the opportunity to take you out there for this fishing.

Catch-em-up,

Capt. Kunta
