Fort Myers - Saltwater Fishing Report

Waters have cooled off and we can't keep the sheepshead off the hooks. What a great eating fish. Black drum in the 30 - 40 lb. Class are prowling. A few nice cobia have been showing up. Catch and release gag grouper. Further offshore goliath grouper are bending rods into pretzels.

Fort Myers Fishing Forecast:

Water will start to warm this month. Sheepshead will continue to be a staple. Permits will start to school up on the reefs and cobia will be more abundant. Bait schools will show up as well and spanish and king mackerel.
Red grouper will open up April 1.
