Fort Myers - Saltwater Fishing Report

What a month for the Cobia bite,,, Largest one about 60 lbs. Many others on the 20 to 30 lb. class. Best bite we have seen in years. Had to replace our broomstick rod after is was shattered by an estimated 500 lb. Goliath Grouper. We also had 4 permit caught on a half day on a 12 mile wreck. Snapper still biting. Cooler waters have the Spanish Mackerel all fired up and they are large. Our 28 ft. Parker center console is freshly powered and fast. Even jumped a Sailfish on a wreck two weeks ago. Very large Hammerhead Shark on also but could not stop him...
