Fort Myers Fishing Report - No Red Tide Issues Today

Capt. Eric Anderson
November 24, 2019
Fort Myers - Saltwater Fishing Report

I believe that anglers need to hear from us if the Red Tide is affecting the areas we fished for the date of this report. Hopefully others will follow my lead and let everyone know whats up. On 11/24/2019 we fished in Estero Bay from Hendry Creek south to New Pass. We caught Jacks, Ladyfish, and Sheepshead. The fish were active and despite a NWS alert for Red Tide as a possible respiratory irritant my clients and I had no problems at all. No dead fish were seen and we had a great day on the water. The media loves to report bad news, so its our responsibility to give you timely reports good or bad on the status of the red tide in our areas.

Good Luck This Coming Week and Happy Holidays!
Capt Eric Anderson

Fort Myers Fishing Forecast:

Looks like there is a darn good chance that more than one of you will encounter turkey, dressing, and multiple deserts. Have a great time and don't forget to tip your hard working Capt.

We specialize in offering light tackle and fly fishing charters on the flats and in the back bays of Ft Myers and Fort Myers Beach. Just south of Fort Myers is Estero Bay which has an extensive network of lagoons, mangrove islands, tidal creeks and rivers. Fish with one of the Fort Myers Areas most experienced light tackle and fly fishing guides for Tarpon, Snook, Redfish, Trout and more. Be sure to ask us about night fishing, it is great for big Snook.
