Big Gag Grouper, Cobia, Goliath Grouper, Permit

Capt. Brett Swenson
January 6, 2015
Fort Myers - Saltwater Fishing Report

Great fishing this month. Hard to throw back the Big Gag Grouper but they make a great picture. Cobia have been caught on many trips. Pompano and good size Flounder are also hitting.

Goliath Grouper are still bending rods, we have brought up some of the biggest ones this week. One estimated close to 500 lbs. Sheepshead action has been steady, the big breeders should show up on our local reefs any day. Great eating.

Red Grouper are back in season, full day grouper trips available.

Call today, season is here.
