Fort Myers - Saltwater Fishing Report

After a solid week of rain, Gulf has started to settle back to normal and the fishing has picked up as well.
Goliath Grouper bite has not stopped. Bending rods like pretzels daily.
Nice Gag Grouper bite in close on structures. Hitting thread herrings, which are super plentiful.
Great Pompano bite yesterday, what a great eating fish...
Cobia showed up the other day also, one keeper and one a hair shy that was released. So great to see them still around.
Permit action has been spotty, last week we caught 3 up to 25 lbs.
We caught 2 large Blacktip Sharks on Saturday.
We depart daily from Snook Bight Marina on Fort Myers Beach.
