Fort Myers - Saltwater Fishing Report

This was a week that many of my clients wait for the warmer air temperatures and water have the snook very active with many oversized fish being caught.

Fishing in South Matlacha Pass and San Carlos Bay There were lots of snook in the 3-5 lb. range and a good number up to 16 lbs. taken on live shinners.

There have been a few redfish but not as many as I would like to see.

There are still Mackeral and Bluefish on the grass in 3-5 ft. of water near the Sanibel causeway also on live shinners. Keep looking for new reports. Tight Lines.
