The inshore fishing is really good right now and I expect it to stay that way for the next two months. Estero Bay is producing good amounts of redfish. This time of the year the reds start to school up on the flats and around shorelines on the higher tides. A freelined pinfish is the choice of bait with a 3/0 circle hook with 30# flourocarbon leader. The best way to get the right bait is to find a healthy grass flat and start chumming. A 6'-10' foot 1/4"-3/8"mesh cast net will get it done. Also, there are some nice jacks around with smaller snook mixed in.

The nearshore wrecks are providing great action with gag grouper, snapper, flounder and sharks. Look to fish the strong outgoing tides with pinfish pinned on the bottom with a 1oz lead and 50-60# leader with a 4/0-5/0 circle hook.
