Fort Myers - Saltwater Fishing Report
By the time I return from La (leaving today 9/6/05) the early goings of the fall migration South brings promise for Cobia, Kingfish, and Tarpon. I'll be back on 9/15/05.
As for the Labor Day fishing report in and around Pine Island, there are various floating dead fish from Red Tide. Mullet, Pinfish, Redfish, and Tarpon. It stinks around York and Chino Island.
Gas prices have created a whole new challenge for the Professional Saltwater Fishing Guide in Fl (and everywhere else). The days of "scouting" before a trip are a thing of the past.
I will promise everyone who reads this weak report the following. If I cannot bring you reports of substance in the future, I'll no longer furnish crap like this for you to read.
I out the door for La. I'm only scared of 2 things in this life. Snakes and Dentist with Red Hair! "GiddyUp!"
TV CO-Host, Outdoor Writer, Florida Sportsman Seminar Speaker, and named by author Ron Pressley as 1-20 Best Saltwater Master Professionals in Florida. In 2007 Bonita Living Magazine identified "Capt GiddyUp" as one of the top guides in Florida.
